We are looking for a fiesty, hands on studio assistant to join our team, supporting the studio manager in the administration and organization of a very busy studio.

Answerable to the Studio Manager and the Gallery Directors, the role is suited to a highly organized, efficient and motivated candidate with experience in administration within a busy team. Experience of excel, entourage, photoshop and illustrator are highly desirable. A willingness to learn, common sense, enthusiasm, good time management and ability to multitask are essential.
The role is not a hands on printmaking position, but will include screen prep and washing, with some paper finishing, handling and the occasional racking.
The main responsibilities of the studio assistant will be to help maintain the organisation and administration of the studio:
managing emails, calendars, taking phone enquiries
keeping the studio tidy, clean and organized at all times
producing quotations and invoicing jobs
updating and maintaining job sheets
maintaining the print studio website, blog and social media
coordinating the print team to meet deadlines and work efficiently
ordering supplies and materials
packaging and shipping prints
assisting with finishing of prints
The role is part time for three days per week, 9.30 am to 6pm, usually weds-fri, but would need to be flexible with the possibility of more days further down the line.
Salary £18000 PA (Pro Rata)
