Free Multi-Mono workshop at Camberwell College of Art

This workshop is part of Camberwell College of Art’s Into the Fold event.

The Multi-Mono workshop will explore collaborative printmaking through creating a series of multi-layered monoprints with each layer made by a different person. The results of the workshop will then be exhibited in the Into the Fold exhibition in Camberwell Space following the 2 weeks of workshops and talks.

The workshop is hosted by Saara Karppinen & Alice Tye

It is held at Camberwell College of Art on Wednesday, 26 February 2014 from 14:30 to 18:00

Lettering: Objects, Examples, Practice

Opening this week is an exhibition on lettering at Central Saint Martins, King’s Cross, London
The exhibition explores the rich history of lettering through a selection of key historic books and manuscripts from the College’s museum and study collection and central lettering record. 
Also on display will be work by Central Saint Martin’s alumni, showing the influence of the past on emerging practice. Featured designers include Eric Gill, Edward Johnston, Catherine Dixon, Derek Birdsall, Ken Garland, Phil Baines, Jeremy Tankard, Ed Wright and Anthony Froshaug.
The exhibition is co-curated by Professor Phil Baines and staff from the museum and study collection.
