Based in Margate, Kent, Pushing Print is a not-for-profit organisation set up to promote and raise awareness of traditional and contemporary printmaking. This will be the last event Pushing Print, who announced the bursary on their website “We have really enjoyed working with amazing artists and organisations over the last 6 years to produce fantastic events that have pushed the boundaries of print and enabled some of the best and most exciting printmakers to exhibit in Margate. Talks and workshops have provided superb professional development opportunities and the steam engine creating a buzz of anticipation as it drives through the streets of Margate in readiness for the ever popular Giant Print event. So although it is tinged with some sadness that we announce our last event, we want to end Pushing Print as we began: promoting printmaking, supporting artists and raising the profile of creative Margate.”
