Illustration competition

Get your work published in LMNOP’s 2013 Risograph self motivation calendar – stocked in various prestigious shops around the UK. One overall winner will also receive their very own Riso Gocco printing kit imported straight from Japan!

Self motivation… something we all struggle with from time to time. Sometimes it’s just so much easier to watch TV, tidy your room or sit down the pub than it is to get on with that all important task demanding your attention. What you need is an inspirational calendar to get you through the year, full of illustrations to keep you going, pick you up and make you laugh! And as a talented artist yourself, we need your help to make this happen.

To enter the competition, you need to create a 3 colour illustration using Federal Blue, Fluro Pink and Yellow, on the theme Self Motivation.

Deadline for submissions is 20thOctober 2012.

Further information and to submit an entry, please visit the LMNOP website – www.lmnopshop.com

Exhibition at London Print Studio

In partnership with London Design Festival 2012 Reincarnation will be an exhibition, event and series of demonstrations on the recycling of idea, styles, materials and processes in graphic art.

For this exhibition we are looking for artists and designers who breathe new life into old styles, and creatively employ discarded materials and processes.

Whether fun, innovative, imaginative or poignant, recycling plays an ever-increasing role in contemporary life and design. It is a means to reference the past, a strategy for ecological responsibility, an escape from digital ubiquity and a way to make ends meet.

To apply please send an artists statement about your work, how it fits the theme of reincarnation and up to 5 images to apply@londonprintstudio.org.uk by Monday 6th August 2012 at 5pm.

Imagine That

Message from Imagine That:

Call For Submissions

Everyone loves a screen print, right?
We certainly do here at ImagineThat, and that’s why we have decided to run a small screen printing competition where we’re asking you to design us the artwork for us to print.
We will be selecting a number of submissions to print and sell through our online store, where all funds raised will go into the creation of future ImagineThat publications and products, helping us to kick things up a notch: and that’s where you guys come in. We’re looking for a variety of designs under any discipline to be submitted (as long as the design can be reproduced through screen printing), the more variety the better. More after the jump.
